REASON TO LIVE REASON TO GROW

Henry’s back! I was too sick to mention that a few days ago. He’d been busy with finals & graduation, camping, family obligations etc. and I had left for my little excursion, so it’s been close to a month since we’d worked together. I missed our little moments closing down the shop and walking to the bus stop, always pausing at the corner of 1st and pine to admire the pike market sign against the sound as the last ferries head out into the setting sun. Gosh, I’d missed him! Nothing but witty sarcasm and all around goofy-ness. Usually it’s me being goofy, but I get a lot of pleasure out of making him laugh; he’s the quiet type. Sigh, if only we could hang out in the real world. Neither of us has made an effort to do that, but every time I mention us not being real friends, we joke around and never really get to why that is. Either way, I’m glad to have him back. I even left him little notes in his work mailbox letting him know how terrible it was closing down the shop without him-he said it was sweet.

An anti-climactic post, I know. But seeing these button-ups reminded me of him, he’s such a sharp dresser & gosh he’s so handsome!
